CRIPPLE CREEK 4TH OF JULY CELEBRATION 
July 4 & 5, 2008
Residents of Cripple Creek have always loved to celebrate. And since 1900, the Cripple Creek Fourth of July celebration has been recognized as one of the best displays of Colorado fireworks anywhere.
Join us this year as we pay tribute to our great nation at a rousing and spirited two-day Cripple Creek 4th of July celebration. This year’s event will feature a massive fireworks display choreographed to music on both nights, making this a Colorado 4th of July like no other.
Admission to both nights of our Cripple Creek Fourth of July extravaganza is 100% FREE!
In addition to a breathtaking Colorado fireworks display, we’ll also have games, street vendors, competitions, live entertainment and fun for the whole family, including a petting zoo, face painting and a watermelon eating contest on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., followed by a watermelon seed spitting contest at 2:30.
Don’t miss this year’s Cripple Creek 4th of July festival, jam-packed with two days of old-fashioned family fun. And take a moment to remind yourself of everything that makes this country great, in a town that’s never forgotten.
