CAMPING
There’s a camping experience to fit everyone’s taste. The Pike National Forest allows primitive backcountry camping, and also has campgrounds in the area. Other campgrounds, such as the ones at Mueller State Park, offer full RV hookups. Private campgrounds offer other amenities such as laundry facilities, flush toilets, showers and even small stores. Some have cabins that can be rented. Some are small and simple; others, such as the cabins at Mueller State Park, are luxurious retreats.

Cripple Creek KOA
On 20 acres, this is the highest altitude KOA in the world at 10,000 feet! The Cripple Creek KOA offers 10 cabins, 2 lodges, 52 RV sites, 21 tent sites and can even manage overflow.

Cripple Creek Gold Campground
Located off Highway 67, nestled in the pine and aspen just 6 miles north of Cripple Creek. Laundry facilities are available with showers and flush toilets. Also on site trail rides available in the summer for an extra fee. No reservations required.

Cripple Creek Hospitality House and Travel Park
They offer modern, quiet, scenic campsites for RVs and tents. The campground has pull-through sites with full hook-ups, tenting area, bathhouse, laundry and a game area. The Hospitality Room has a pool table and TV.

Eagles Landing RV Park
This is the closest camping to historic downtown. They offer a free shuttle to the Double Eagle Casino, hot showers, laundry, a store and gravel sites to 40'.

Lost Burro Campground
Open all year round. They have 27 tent sites, 24 hook-up sites and 6 full hookup sites hidden among the pines on 27 acres in a secluded valley. Cabins are also available.

Mueller State Park
Located off State Highway 67, 4 miles south of Divide. Mueller offers full hooks ups, tent camping and cabin rentals. Miles and miles of trails exist in the park with a visitor’s center, interpretive trails and trail rides available in the park in the summer for an extra fee. Reservations are highly recommended for both camping and horseback riding.

RNK Park & Camp
With beautiful scenic views of Pikes Peak, this campground is in a great location! Located less than four miles north of Cripple Creek off State Highway 67, visitors have weekly, monthly, and storage options to accommodate their needs. Reservations are preferred, and visitors can save money with "no frills" and self registration. Leashed pets are welcomed, as are RVs, camping trailers, and tents. Amenities include 20/30/50 AMP services, a dump station with water, fire rings, hiking areas, picnic tables, pull through, firewood and portable restrooms. A 24-foot camping trailer is another option available for visitors. Don't forget mention you qualify for a 10% discount for Veterans, Good Sam, AARP, and AAA members. Freedom Resorts and Passport America Discount are also honored.
